Melissa has just walked out on her own wedding. Her friends drag her to a cabin in the woods for a reset. Then Jenny turns up dead in the trees, and the news announces a full-scale alien invasion across the country. With no help coming and no way out, the group is left to survive on its own. A sci-fi survival thriller about friendship, fear, and what women do when they have no one left to call.

From streaming to theaters: The film marked a major career leap for Footage Films, a Black-owned studio that built its name producing over 23 #1 Tubi Originals before taking this project to a theatrical release.
Marques Houston, who co-wrote and produced the film, originally had no intention of acting in it. Director Chris Stokes waited until after the script was finished to suggest Houston play the lead role of Andre, specifically because he didn't want Houston to write the character for himself.
Run represents Footage Films' return to horror nearly two decades after their 2007 hit Somebody Help Me and its 2010 sequel, making it a reunion with the genre for the studio.
