Lola Tung (birthname: Lola Marie Tung) made her breakthrough as an actor as part of the cast of Amazon Prime’s hit series, The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022-2025), which she landed while a student at Carnegie Mellon University in 2021. Tung led the cast of director/writer/producer Osgood Perkins’s The Young People (2026), with Nico Parker, Brendan Hines, Tatiana Maslany, Johnny Knoxville, Heather Graham, Nicole Kidman, and Cush Jumbo, and which was also produced by Chris Ferguson and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones.
Lola Tung was born and raised in New York City by her mother (of Chinese and Swedish descent) and father (of Eastern European descent). Tung attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and graduated in 2020. Tung studied theater at the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University in her freshman year, before leaving the university for her casting in The Summer I Turned Pretty. Tung’s height is 5’ 5 ¾ ”.
