Jacob Scipio (birthname: Jacob Muntaz Scipio) is a respected British screen and stage actor who began acting on screen at 9 months old. His child performances include a double role in the Channel 4 (UK) production of Zadie Smith’s White Teeth (2002).

Scipio’s feature film career started in earnest in 2020 with Bad Boys for Life, opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and Rod Lurie’s The Outpost. His profile as an action-oriented actor continued in 2021 opposite Michael B. Jordan in Amazon Prime’s Without Remorse, and in 2022, the third sequel to The Expendables, The Expendables 4, with Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Megan Fox, and Andy Garcia.

Jason Scipio joined Nicolas Cage (who also produced), Pedro Pascal, Tiffany Haddish, and Neil Patrick Harris in director/co-writer Tom Gormican’s action comedy, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022), premiering at the South by Southwest Film Festival and earning $29 million for distributor Lionsgate.

Scipio played a supporting role in the fourth entry in the franchise, Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024), co-starring Will Smith (who also produced with Jerry Bruckheimer) and Martin Lawrence, with Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nunez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seahorn, Tiffany Haddish and Joe Pantoliano under Adil El Arbi’s and Bilail Fallah’s co-direction and grossing a strong $405 million for Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures Releasing.
