Lou Llobell is an actor of Zimbabwean and Spanish heritage best known for her continuing role in Apple TV+’s hit sci-fi series, Foundation (2021-present), and made her feature debut in another sci-fi drama, director/writer/producer Neil Burger’s Voyagers (2021), starring Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, Colin Farrell, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Viveik Kaira and Archie Madekwe, co-produced by funding from the U.S., U.K., Czech Republic and Romania, and bombing for distributor Lionsgate at the box office with a $4.2 million return (based on estimated costs). Llobell landed her first co-starring role in a theatrical feature opposite Jacob Scipio and Melissa Leo in the supernatural horror movie, Passenger (2026), directed by André Øvredal, produced by 18Hz Productions/Coin Operated, and released wide by Paramount Pictures.
Lou Llobell was born in Zimbabwe and was raised in Zimbabwe, in Seville (Spain), and in South Africa by her parents, a Spanish-born father and a Zimbabwean-born mother. Llobell attended Epworth High School in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and then Llobell moved to Birmingham, England to study at The University of Birmingham, where she graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Drama and Theatre Arts; Llobell continued to study theater at the Drama Centre London, where she earned her Master of Arts degree in 2018. Llobell’s height is 5’ 3”.
