Andrew Barth Feldman (birth name: Andrew Barth Feldman), who made his acting breakthrough in the lead role of the Broadway premiere of the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen, has moved into film as a co-star alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the comedy No Hard Feelings (2023).
After his first movie appearances in small supporting roles in the streaming movies White Noise (2022), adapted from the Don DeLillo novel by Noah Baumbach, and Netflix’s rom-com, A Tourist’s Guide to Love (2023), Andrew Barth Feldman had his big-screen breakthrough with No Hard Feelings (2023), co-written (with John Phillips) and directed by Gene Stupinsky, with cast members Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Hasan Minhaj, and Kyle Mooney, produced by Columbia Pictures/Saks Picture Company/Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment/Excellent Cadaver, and which grossed a good $87.3 million (based on estimated costs) for distributor Sony Pictures Releasing.
Feldman joined the large ensemble of director/co-writer/producer Jason Reitman’s comedy-drama about the debut of the legendary NBC comedy show, Saturday Night Live (2024), co-written and produced by Gil Kenan, co-starring Gabriel LaBelle, Rachel Sennott, Cory Michael Smith, Ella Hunt, Dylan O’Brien, Cooper Hoffman, Kaia Gerber, Willem Dafoe, Matthew Rhys and J.K. Simmons, produced by Columbia Pictures/Reitman-Kenan Productions, while losing money for Sony Pictures Releasing (based on estimated costs) with a $10 million gross.
Feldman voiced the roles of Dopey and the Narrator in Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White (2025), starring Rachel Zegler in the title role, Andrew Burnap, Gal Gadot, and Jeremy Swift under Marc Webb’s direction, and which was a money-loser for Disney (based on estimated costs) with a $205.7 return. Andrew Barth Feldman was co-lead with Cooper Hoffman and Leslie Mann in director/producer Maude Apatow’s relationship comedy, Poetic License (2025), with lead producer Judd Apatow, and which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival before a wide 2026 release.
Andrew Barth Feldman was born and raised in Manhasset, New York, by his parents, David and Barbara. Feldman has one older sister and several male cousins, with whom he grew up so closely that he considers them his brothers. While still in high school, Feldman created a YouTube channel on his obsession with musical theater and even founded a musical theater company titled Zneefrock Productions. Feldman studied at the Lawrence Woodmere Academy and then attended Harvard University starting in 2021, but took time away from studies during the COVID-19 pandemic and while filming No Hard Feelings—just as he had to take time away from his high school studies while starring in the Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen. In 2019, while Feldman was still in high school, his mother died. Feldman’s height is 5’ 6”.
