Andrew Burnap is a highly acclaimed film, theater, and television actor who made his feature debut in a supporting role in the Michael Engle-directed drama, The Chaperone (2018), written by Julian Fellowes and co-starring Haley Lu Richardson, Miranda Otto, Elizabeth McGovern, Blythe Danner and Campbell Scott, and grossing $1.5 million for PBS Releasing.
Burnap appeared in another supporting role in the indie movie, Spare Room (2018), starring Skyler Samuels, Martin Sensmeier, Thomas Cocquerel, Virginia Madsen, Alicia Witt, and Chris Mulkey under Jenica Bergere’s direction.
Burnap had his first major role in a feature with directors/writers Max and Sam Eggers’ psychological horror movie, The Front Room (2024), based on Susan Hill’s story and starring Brandy, Neal Huff, and Kathryn Hunter, and grossing a mild $3.8 million for distributor A24.
Burnap landed his first major role in a studio movie with the lead male role of Jonathan in Disney’s live-action “reimagining” of the classic animated movie, Snow White (2025), starring Rachel Zegler in the title role, Gal Gadot (as the Evil Queen), Ansu Kabia, Jeremy Swift, Martin Klebba and Patrick Page, under Marc Webb’s direction, and which was budgeted at approximately $269 million.
Andrew Burnap joined the cast of the thriller, The Up and Comer (date to be announced), co-starring Sarah Bolger, Noah Emmerich and Rebecca De Mornay, written by Howard Roughan and directed by Chris Long.
Andrew Burnap was born and raised in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, by his parents. Burnap’s lower education was in South Kingstown, and then Burnaps earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Rhode Island. Burnap then attended the Yale Drama School at Yale University, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree. Burnap’s height is 5’ 9”.
