The Moviehouse is an independent cinema with four screens including an intimate screening lounge for smaller audiences, private parties, screenings, and events. In addition to first run and independent films we showcase important documentaries and arts including Met Live Opera, Nt Live theatre productions, Exhibition on Screen and often welcome filmmakers for enaging talkbacks and Q&A. The Moviehouse is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been celebrating film and bringing the community together since 1978. We are inclusive and believe film should shed light on stories from all over the world, as well as unite us in laughter, empathy, surprise, and spirited conversation.
