Tampa Theatre is a movie theatre and historic landmark located at 711 North Franklin Street in Tampa, Florida. Built in 1926, it is one of America’s most elaborate movie palaces, and still operates today as a unique setting for showing independent films and Hollywood first-run movies. The theater also hosts concerts, corporate and family events and educational programs. The theater was created by the renowned architect John Eberson, who was prolific in designing movie palaces during their heydey of their construction.
