The Scott Theater, originally opened in 1930, is a charming one-screen theater located in the historic downtown district of Waldron, Arkansas. It holds the distinction of being the oldest operating movie theater in the state. Over the years, it has undergone several changes, including a new name and various renovations. In 2015, the theater transitioned from 35mm film projection to state-of-the-art digital sound and video technology. Currently, the Scott Theater can accommodate 220 patrons, and it even features 25 VIP seats that offer the best view in the house.
