The Ritz Theater is a classic single-screen movie theatre located in Clinton, Tennessee, with a rich history in the community. After it first opened its doors in 1945, it gained renown as one of the most modern theaters in the South. It operated as a movie theater until 1969and then transformed into the home of the Red Speeks Country Music Show, a popular local radio show. After a brief closure in 1987, it sat unused until 2000 when the Ritz Theater received a makeover to how it appears today. The theater features a mix of current and classic movies and live performances.
