The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts in Jamestown, NY, is a beautifully restored 1923 theater that serves as the cultural heart of the community. Named after philanthropist Reginald Lenna—whose $1 million donation began its restoration in 1987—the Reg has grown into a vibrant arts complex, now spanning seven interconnected buildings following a major $4.5 million renovation in 2019. The venue hosts an array of events including concerts, films, theatrical productions, ballet, art exhibitions, and community programs. Notably, it was the site of the 1956 premiere of Forever, Darling starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. With a 1,269-seat historic theater, a 60-seat studio theater, the 3rd On 3rd Art Gallery, and WRFA-LP 107.9 FM community radio station, the Reg is a hub for creativity and entertainment. The box office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12–5 p.m., and one hour before events. Tickets are available in person, by phone, or online, with special pricing for group sales and family films. The venue is ADA accessible on the main floor, and parking is available nearby.
