The Historic Ohio Theatre in Madison, Indiana is a beloved cinema located on Main Street. Generations of Madisonians have fond memories of this historic theater. Since 2016, the non-profit organization Friends of the Ohio Theatre has been diligently restoring the beautiful building to its former glory. The interior features Art Deco style, and they recently reopened the enclosed balcony to accommodate artists requiring venues with seating capacity exceeding 600. The Ohio Theatre remains a Main Street icon and a testament to Madison’s cultural heritage!
