O Cinema South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida, is a nonprofit, community-driven arthouse cinema dedicated to celebrating independent filmmaking as an art form. Housed in the historic Miami Beach City Hall, this beautifully renovated 2,800-square-foot venue features a 77-seat screening room equipped with a 15-by-20-foot screen, Bose surround sound, and the capability to showcase a variety of formats, including 16mm films. As the home of the Miami Beach Film Society, O Cinema combines its mission-driven focus with a curated selection of intriguing and high-quality independent films, first-run movies, and engaging programs. Guests can enjoy baked goods, chocolates, Nespresso coffee, and classic concessions in the theater’s two concession areas. The versatile space, which also includes a gallery for film-related images and an extensive library, can be transformed for performances or private events, accommodating up to 240 people for cocktail gatherings. Since 2011, O Cinema South Beach has been a cultural hub for film lovers in Miami-Dade County, offering an unparalleled cinematic experience.
