The Knickerbocker Theatre, located at 86 East 8th Street in downtown Holland, Michigan, is a historic performance venue built in 1911.
Initially hosting vaudeville acts, orchestras, magicians, even elephants and Chautauqua performances, it has long served as a cultural hub in the region.Since 1988 the theatre has been owned by Hope College, which uses it for a wide array of events — from concerts, art films and lectures to community and student-stage performances.The theatre seats about 536 people, maintains its architectural charm, and continues to be an active part of Holland’s arts and civic life.
