Plot Summary

When her grandfather suddenly disappears, responsible-ish Noble, her two very unqualified best friends, and a street-reformed auntie begin following the only trail he left behind - a string of strange clues hidden in everyday places. What starts with a message tucked inside a clock quickly pulls them out of their routines and into unfamiliar parts of their community, leading to a homeless informant, a mysterious one-eyed stranger, and an incident involving a tranquilizer dart that lands the trio into serious trouble.As they chase each new lead, the search forces them to rely on instincts they never trusted and on each other in ways they've long avoided. Old arguments resurface, personal fears come to the surface, and the confidence they once had in their friendship begins to crack under pressure. Every answer seems to create more questions, and the possibility grows that PawPaw may not want to be found as quickly as they hoped.With every lead pointing somewhere new and nowhere helpful, frustration builds and hope fades. But after a sudden realization about one final location, the friends go undercover at a remote rehabilitation facility - only to discover a hidden world of seniors living far more adventurous lives than anyone expected.As the search spirals into mishaps, disguises, and hard truths, the friends finally understand why PawPaw vanished.
