Carson MacCormac is a Canadian actor who has appeared in a range of genre and superhero movies, landing his first feature role after acting for two years in director/writer Keith Behrman’s teen drama, Giant Little Ones (2018), starring Josh Wiggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Darren Mann and Maria Bello, and released by Mongrel Media after premiering at the Toronto Film Festival.
MacCormac landed a role in his first DC Comics Universe movie as a school bully in the David F. Sandberg-directed live-action versions of both Shazam! (2019) and the sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023), both starring Zachary Levi, Jack Dylan Grazer, Asher Angel, and Djimon Hounsou, grossed $502 million for Warner Bros.
MacCormac was part of the ensemble of the Canadian post-apocalyptic movie, Riot Girls (2019), co-starring Madison Iseman and Paloma Kwiatkowski under Jovanka Vuckovic’s direction, and released in the U.S. by Cranked Up Films, receiving five Canadian Screen Award nominations. MacCormac had his first starring role in the American indie crime drama, East of Middle West (2021), with Scott McCord and Joris Jarsky under Brian Lucke Anderson’s direction.
Carson MacCormac played a supporting role in the mystery, Luckiest Girl Alive (2022), with Mila Kunis as star and producer, alongside Finn Wittrock, Scott McNairy, Justine Lupe, Jennifer Beals, and Connie Britton under Mike Barker’s direction, and released theatrically and streamed by Netflix. MacCormac co-starred in director/co-writer Eli Craig’s slasher movie, Clown in a Cornfield (2025), with Katie Douglas, Aaron Abrams, Kevin Duran, and Will Sasso, and released by RLJE Films and Shudder after premiering at the South by Southwest Film Festival.
MacCormac was one of the co-stars of director/writer Courtney Marsh’s U.S. drama, Where Did the Adults Go? (date to be announced), co-starring Carey Cox, Amadeus Serafini, and William Atherton, and produced by Black Phoebe Films and Cynasty Films. MacCormac then played a supporting role in director/co-writer Adam MacDonald’s Canadian horror thriller, This is Not a Test (date to be announced), with Olivia Holt, Luke Macfarlan, and Froy Gutierrez, and which was produced by Anova Pictures/Blue Fox Entertainment.
