The Playhouse Movie Theatre is a historic movie theater located in Randolph, Vermont. It is the oldest purpose-built movie theater in Vermont and one of the oldest in the United States. The theater began in 1919 as The Strand, showing silent films, and had several owners over the years before becoming a member-owned cooperative in 2012. The theater is open on Fridays, Saturdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7:30 PM, and on Sundays at 2:00 PM with matinee screenings shown with open captions.
