The Pickwick Theatre is an art deco movie palace located in Park Ridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
The Pickwick Theatre dates back to 1928 and is one of Park Ridge’s most recognizable facades. In 1975, the theatre was named to the National Register of Historic Places. Its main auditorium remains intact in its original, large five-aisle state. In the 1980s, the Pickwick’s marquee was one of many used as the backdrop for the opening credits of Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert’s iconic ‘At the Movies’ review program.
