The Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee IMAX Theater and Planetarium offers an immersive, educational, and entertaining experience in downtown Tallahassee, FL. Located on Kleman Plaza, this 32,000-square-foot facility serves as the K-12 outreach arm of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, using aerospace themes to inspire and engage students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The center features a state-of-the-art Space Mission Simulator, an IMAX® 3D Theater with a five-story screen and incredible surround sound, and the Downtown Digital Dome Planetarium. The IMAX® Theater hosts a wide range of films, from Hollywood blockbusters to educational documentaries, offering a stunning visual experience. With a variety of interactive and immersive programs, the Challenger Learning Center also serves the general public and tourists, making it a hub for both learning and entertainment.
