The 3M Palace Theater is an historic single-screen movie theater located at 137 Walnut Street in Colorado City, Texas. Adjoined to the Baker Hotel building, the theater opened as the Palace Theater in 1923, offering 732 seats and equipped with a Wurlitzer-type “O” organ. In 1957, the venue was renamed to Rowley United Theatres. Extensive renovations were completed in 2007, when it took its current name as the 3M Palace Theater, with 240 larger seats that increased comfort. Today, it features the latest Hollywood releases in its delightful retro setting.
