Plot Summary

André Leon Talley: Style Is Forever is a 2026 American documentary directed by Clayton H. Haskell and Zach Stafford, written by Frank Peluso and Stafford. The film traces Talley's near fifty year career in fashion, from his beginnings through his years at Vogue, and sets his work advocating for diversity against the personal and professional obstacles he met along the way.
It draws on never-before-seen footage alongside interviews with Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, Diane von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, Vera Wang, Law Roach, Constance White and Vanessa Friedman. Eric Breen, Walker Dalton, Leslie Merlin, Peluso and Dane C. Reiley produced for SCAD Studios, with Paula Wallace, Colman Domingo and Raúl Domingo as executive producers, and the Savannah College of Art and Design presenting.
Greenwich Entertainment released it on 9 October 2026, playing exclusively at New York's IFC Center through 15 October while also going to video on demand across the United States from the same day. The runtime is 1 hour 23 minutes.
