A documentary built around Eucharistic adoration, moving between filmed testimony and staged scenes from scripture and Church history. Clergy and laypeople describe what the practice has meant to them, while reenactments carry a thread from the Ark of the Covenant through to a medieval procession. A film about presence, belief, and what the faithful say they find in a quiet chapel.

Adore Him: He Is Here is a 2026 American Catholic docudrama written, directed and produced by Don Johnson for Runaway Planet Pictures. The film alternates documentary interviews with four dramatised sequences: the Israelites carrying the Ark of the Covenant through the desert, Mary and Joseph travelling to Bethlehem, Jesus teaching in a Bethany marketplace during Passion week, and a Corpus Christi procession in the Middle Ages. The rest sets out Church teaching on the Eucharist through firsthand testimony, drawn from more than ninety filmed interviews.
Speakers include Archbishop Paul Coakley, Archbishop José Gomez, Bishop Kevin Vann, Curtis Martin of FOCUS, Chris Stefanick, Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, Fr Chris Alar, Fr Donald Calloway and Fr John Riccardo.
Deacon Steve Greco of Spirit Filled Hearts executive produced, having done the same on Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist (2024). The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange partnered on the release. Drama sequences were shot in Palm Springs and across several Texas locations, with interviews filmed in the United States and Europe. Fathom Entertainment released it nationwide from 4 to 8 October 2026.
For practising Catholics and for viewers interested in devotional practice on its own terms.
