Summaries

Plot Summary

45 centers on Vinay (Raj B Shetty), a software engineer whose impulsive act of violence that is killing Rosie , sets in motion a fate far greater than he can comprehend. After killing Rosie, a dog revered by the powerful Rayappa (Upendra), Vinay expects immediate death. Instead, Rayappa delivers an unsettling judgment: Vinay is granted45 days to continue living. This reprieve is rooted in an ancient belief from the Garuda Purana, where a soul is allowed time to confront its actions before facing its final reckoning.Fearing retribution, Vinay disappears into hiding as tensions escalate within the criminal underworld. His partner Meghana turns to another gangster, Muthu, seeking protection, further complicating the fragile balance of power. During this uncertain period, Vinay crosses paths with Shivanna (Shiva Rajkumar), a quiet, benevolent man who manages a residential community known as Kasturi Nivasa. Offering refuge without judgment, Shivanna becomes an unexpected anchor in Vinay's unraveling life.Soon, Vinay is plagued by intense visions that blur reality and premonition. He repeatedly witnesses his own death and a series of events that begin unfolding exactly as seen, leaving him shaken and convinced that time itself is closing in on him. As these omens intensify, Vinay becomes increasingly aware that his countdown is not merely a threat, but a cosmic process already in motion. The truth behind Rayappa gradually emerges as he is revealed to embody Yamaraja, the divine force of death, pursuing Vinay not out of vengeance but to restore moral balance. Under Shivanna's guidance, Vinay is forced to confront his past, acknowledge the weight of his choices, and search for redemption within the limited time he has left. Shivanna's presence evolves into that of a spiritual protector, guiding Vinay through fear, remorse, and moral awakening. As the final day arrives, Vinay faces Rayappa in an unavoidable confrontation where survival depends not on violence, but on understanding. The film culminates in a powerful resolution that merges the physical and metaphysical worlds, questioning whether true repentance can transform destiny, or if karma must always be paid in full.
