Shunsuke Nakashige began a shift from television-based anime work to feature films as a key animator with four movies in four years: Kantai Collection: KanColle Movie (2016), After the Rain (2018), Bingo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple (2018) and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna (2020). Nakashige made his feature directorial debut with the big-screen version of the popular Solo Leveling anime TV series titled Solo Leveling: ReAwakening (2024), with animation produced by A-1 Pictures.
