Robert Olsen was co-screenwriter/co-producer (with regular creative partner Dan Berk) of the horror-comedy, Don’t Kill It (2016), starring Dolph Lundgren, with Kristina Klebe and Miles Doleac under editor Mike Mendez’s direction. Olsen made his theatrical feature debut as co-director/co-writer (with Berk) of the horror-comedy, Villains (2019), Bill Skarsgård, Maika Monroe, and Kyra Sedgwick, and released by Gunpowder & Sky after premiering at the South by Southwest Film Festival.
Olsen was co-director (with his creative partner Dan Berk) of the action comedy-thriller, Novocaine (2025), starring Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson and Jacob Batalon, and which was released wide by Paramount Pictures.
Robert Olsen was born and raised in the U.S. by his parents.
