Mia Threapleton (birthname: Mia Honey Threapleton) is a British actor who made her feature debut in a supporting role in the 18th century drama set in the court of Louis XIV, co-star/director/co-writer Alan Rickman’s A Little Chaos (2014), starring (her mother) Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts, Stanley Tucci, Helen McCrory, Steven Waddington and Jennifer Ehle, premiering at the Toronto Film Festival’s closing night event and released in the U.S. in 2015 by Focus Features.
Threapleton was cast in another historical drama about royals, Firebrand (2023), based on Elizabeth Fremantle’s 2013 novel, Queen’s Gambit, starring Alicia Vikander, Jude Law, Eddie Marsan, Sam Riley and Simon Russell Beale, and released by Roadside Attractions/Vertical Entertainment after premiering in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
