Jonno Davies (birthname: Jonathan Davies) is an acclaimed British actor who made his big-screen debut in the spy comedy that launched the franchise, Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), starring Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton, and Michael Caine under co-writer Matthew Vaughn’s direction, and which grossed a fabulous $414.4 million for 20th Century Fox.
Davies played a supporting role in the Timur Bekmambetov-directed remake, Ben-Hur (2016), with Jack Huston, Toby Kebbell, Rodrigo Santor,o and Morgan Freeman, and released to poor returns by Paramount Pictures, which was co-produced with MGM.
Davies was featured in the crime thriller, Milk and Honey: The Movie aka King of Crime (2018), starring Mark Wingett and Rachel Bright (Davies’ future wife) and directed by Matt Gambell. Davies performed motion capture of pop superstar Robbie Williams (imagined as a chimpanzee) in the biopic of Williams’s meteoric career, Better Man (2024), directed, co-written and co-produced by Michael Gracey, co-starring Steve Pemberton, Kate Mulvany and Alison Steadman, and released wide by Paramount Pictures (US)/Entertainment Film Distributors (UK)/Roadshow Films (Australia).
Jonno Davies co-starred in director/co-writer Nick Moorcroft’s British comedy, Mother’s Pride (date to be announced), starring Mark Addy, Gabriella Wilde, Martin Clunes, and Luke Treadaway. Davies co-starred in director/writer Peter Greenaway’s UK/Italy/US co-produced drama set in Tuscany, Lucca Mortis (date to be announced), starring Dustin Hoffman, Sofia Boutella, Helen Hunt, Giacomo Gianniotti, Laura Morante, Jun Ichikawa and Alessandro Bressanello.
