Jasmine Mathews is a fast-rising actor who has landed roles in major movies on streaming, starting with Amazon’s The Tomorrow War (2021), starring Chris Pratt, and Netflix’s The Man from Toronto (2022), starring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson. Matthews’s big-screen feature debut was a co-starring role opposite Khris Davis in Big George Foreman; The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World (2023), directed by George Tillman Jr. and released by Sony Pictures.
Mathews’s first starring role in a feature was in the Canadian-produced climate crisis drama, Civil (date to be announced), with Vinessa Antoine and Douglas Smith, and directed by Mackenzie Donaldson.
Jasmine Mathews was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Westbury Christian School in Houston, Mathews studied acting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a Fine Arts Masters degree. Mathews then attended the British American Drama Academy in London. Mathews has two siblings, Michael Devon Leblanc, and AJ Mathews. Mathews is single. Mathews’ height is 5’ 3”.
