Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi had gained acclaim (and a Best Actor nomination from NZ TV Awards) for his lead role in the New Zealand TV series, The Panthers (2021) when he was cast in a co-starring role in his debut feature about a Tongan marching band, Red, White & Brass (2023), co-starring John-Paul Foliaki and Ilaisaane Green and directed and co-written by Damon Fepulea’I and produced by Piki Films/Miss Conception Films.
Schuster-Koloamatangi co-starred in his first Hollywood-produced movie opposite co-star Elle Fanning in the seventh entry in the Predator franchise, director/co-story writer/producer Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Badlands (2025), written by Patrick Aison, produced by Lawrence Gordon Productions/Davis Entertainment/Toberoff Entertainment, and released wide by 20th Century Studios.
Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, by his parents of Samoan and Tongan heritage. Schuster-Koloamatangi attended and graduated from St. Peter’s College in Auckland. Schuster-Koloamatangi’s height is 7’ 3”.
