Brandon Lessard is an American actor who has worked frequently with Australian-based director/writer/producer Richard Gray, starting with a supporting role. At the same time, he was still a high school student in the Gray-directed and produced horror movie, Broken Ghost (2017), co-starring Autry Haydon-Wilson, Scottie Thompson, Nick Farnell, Devon Bagby, and Joy Brunson, and co-written by Abe Pogos and Catherine Hill.
Lessard joined the impressive cast of director Gray’s historical epic, Robert the Bruce (2019), starring co-writer Angus Macfadyen, Jared Harris, Anna Hutchison, Patrick Fugit, and Melora Walters, and which had been planned for a U.S. release by Screen Media Films but was cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lessard was cast by director/producer Richard Gray for the Gold Rush Western, Murder at Yellowstone City (2022), joining a roster of actors including Isaiah Mustafa, Gabriel Byrne, Thomas Jane, Richard Dreyfuss, Nat Wolff, Anna Camp, and Aimee Garcia, and released by RLJ Entertainment. Lessard then played a supporting role in director/writer/producer Myles Clohessy’s Western and Native American drama, The Redeemer (2022), with Brandon Routh, Irene Bedard, Chris Mulkey, Robert Clohessy, Greg Hovanessian, and Dana Sparks.
Brandon Lessard landed his first co-starring role in director/producer Richard Gray’s Western, The Unholy Trinity (2024), with Samuel L. Jackson, Pierce Brosnan, Ethan Peck, Q’orianka Kilcher, Tim Daly and David Arquette, and after premiering at the Zurich Film Festival was released wide by Saban Films/Roadside Attractions. Lessard then reunited with director/writer/producer Myles Clohessy’s supernatural slavery drama, The Plantation (date to be announced), co-starring Robert Clohessy, Kristina Klebe, Drew Moerlein, Liz Lafontant, Mosiah Chartock, and Trevor Pope, and produced by Barefoot Kid Productions/JARS Productions.
Lessard joined the cast of another Western, director/co-writer/editor Nick DeBoer’s Death on the Dearborn (date to be announced), with Zach McGowan, Bob Morley, Kevin McNally, and Eddie Spears, and produced by Angel Peak Studios.
Brandon Lessard was born and raised by his parents in Fairfax County, Virginia. Lessard attended and graduated from the University of Southern California, where he studied at USC’s School of Dramatic Arts.
