Rosalind Ross (birthname: Rosalind Ruth Ross) is a writer and director of the Columbia Pictures drama, Father Stu (2022), starring Mark Wahlberg as a boxer-turned-priest, Jackie Weaver, Teresa Ruiz, and Mel Gibson. Ross is the writer of short films and on the TV series, Matador (2014), as well as the upcoming feature, Barbarian (production and release date not announced), about a Celtic uprising against the Roman Empire.
Rosalind Ross grew up in Aptos and Palo Alto, California, and learned equestrian skills when she was nine years old. She graduated from Palo Alto High School, and graduated from Emerson College with a BA in English, specializing in creative writing. She attended NEO A&M College.
