Situated at 2226 York Crossing Drive within the York River Crossing Shopping Center along U.S. Route 17, this eight‑screen cinema serves residents and visitors to Hayes, Virginia. Originally opened on April 25, 1997 as part of Regal Cinemas (then called “Gloucester 7”), it transitioned to independent ownership and became YRC Cinemas on March 16, 2001.
While the building retains its 1990s Art Deco–inspired design, it also benefits from modern renovations including recliner seating. It also offers affordable ticket pricing and excellent customer support from a friendly staff. YRC shows current, first-run movies in various genres, that include action blockbusters, family films, and niche art house fare.
