Originally built on the former fire-department horse corral site, the venue transitioned from hosting live performances to screening motion pictures around 1930.The single-screen cinema has been modernized with updated digital projection, Dolby sound equipment (added in 2013), and concession upgrades—while still retaining its vintage charm and community-focused atmosphere.It continues to host new releases, discount tickets, and even private rentals for events such as birthday parties and school outings.With a seating capacity of approximately 289-304 seats, the theater provides an intimate movie-going experience in the heart of Paw Paw’s downtown district.
