The Palace Theater in Brady, Texas, is a historic venue that has been a focal point of the town’s cultural scene since it first opened its doors in 1927. After a decades of vacancy, in 2014 a non-profit group formed to assume control of the theater and three years later the venue reopened to the public as a newly restored movie house. Since then many additional improvements have been made, including the installation of state-of-the-art digital technology for cinema projection as well as sound and lighting upgrades. The theater now hosts live events and film screenings.
