The Eielson Air Force Base Theater, also known as the Ernie Walker Theater, is right there in North Pole, Alaska. It’s an entertainment center at the heart of the U.S. Air Force Base, which just happens to be the northernmost Air Force Base in the U.S., only 127 miles from the Arctic Circle! This cool theater started its showbiz journey on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1953. Run by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, it’s all about showing the latest and greatest movies. The theater has a single screen, and you can catch movies on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 pm.
