The Colonial Theatre is a historic movie theatre located in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. It was originally opened in 1915 and is the oldest continuously operating movie theatre in the United States. The theatre has undergone a series of renovations and improvements and now offers state-of-the-art digital projection and surround sound for independent and world cinema. It also hosts Grammy award-winning performing artists, family entertainment, and community events from May through October. The theatre has a seating capacity of 300 and has been named “Best Vintage Movie Theatre” by Yankee Magazine and is on the New Hampshire Registry of Historic Places. The theatre is open from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
