The Carlisle Theatre is a movie theatre and live performance venue located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The theatre was established in 1939 as a movie theatre and was the first public air-conditioned building in Carlisle. It has since expanded its repertoire to include musical acts, live theatrical productions and family programming. Its movie program includes first-run and award-winning films as well as independent and foreign titles. The theatre is operated by Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center, Inc., a 501©3 non-profit organization run by volunteers.
