Since its opening on September 22, 1995, at 64 N. Main Street, South Norwalk, CT 06854, AMC SoNo 8 has been more than just a cinema – as part of the AMC Theatres family, it has become a cornerstone of the city’s cultural landscape. Originally launched as the Crown Sono Regent, the theatre has undergone several transformations, including a significant remodel in 2018 under Bow Tie Cinemas’ “Ultimate” concept, which introduced a full bar, kitchen, and electric recliner seating. In April 2022, AMC Theatres took over operations, continuing the tradition of delivering exceptional cinematic experiences.
