The Alex Theatre in Glendale, California, is a historic landmark located at 216 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, California in the heart of Glendale’s business and entertainment district. The theatre was built in 1925 and has a seating capacity of 1,400. Originally a neighborhood vaudeville house and movie palace, it was named after the son of its owner, C. L. Langley, who owned West Coast Theatres. Today, the Alex is a vibrant hub for the arts, hosting special events and live performances and movie screenings.
