The Aero Theatre, situated at 1328 Montana Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90403, was originally constructed by the Douglas Aircraft Company in 1939. Designed by architect R.M. Woolpert, the theater opened its doors on May 15, 1940, with a seating capacity of 678. Initially intended to serve as a 24-hour entertainment venue for aircraft workers, it has evolved over the decades into a cherished cultural landmark.
