
In a theatrical landscape littered with highs and lows from week to week, demand for IMAX screenings is stronger than ever. The latest example of the intense interest in IMAX screenings was the one-year-in-advance sales for IMAX screenings of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic THE ODYSSEY.
Even though the movie will not hit theatres until next summer on July 17, IMAX put on sale advance tickets for 70mm screenings of THE ODYSSEY this year on July 17. All available places sold out within minutes, demonstrating interest in both Nolan’s film and the IMAX experience.
