Lizzy, a talented sculptor and arts administrator, finds herself entangled in a complex relationship with Jo, a rival artist and her enigmatic landlord. Their interactions are often filled with tension and conflict. One day, Lizzy's cat causes harm to a pigeon, and unexpectedly, Jo steps in to rescue the injured bird. Reluctantly, Lizzy is tasked with caring for the creature, and as time goes on, a peculiar bond begins to form between them. However, as Lizzy's crucial artwork is destroyed in a mysterious kiln fire, and her brother's mental state becomes unstable, the shadows of uncertainty loom over her upcoming exhibition. Amidst the chaos, Lizzy's family makes an unexpected appearance at the show, adding further intrigue to the unfolding events. Jo also makes an appearance, bringing along the rescued pigeon, which unexpectedly breaks free from its confinement.
