Tom George (Birthname: Thomas George) is a writer-director of several BBC comedy series, including episodes of BBC Proms in 2015-2016, as well as award shows. George started as a running in non-fiction film production and shifted into directing live music shows, including the Glastonbury Festival and The Mercury Music Prize show.
Though best known as director of the hit BBC faux-documentary comedy series, This Country (2017-2020), George has expanded to feature filmmaking with the murder mystery comedy, See How They Run (2022), with Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Harris Dickinson, and David Oyelowo, and written by Mark Chappell.

Don’t get too obsessed with cameras. You need to know about them, but they’re just a tool. I don’t think good chefs are on websites reading about the latest ovens.
