Ryan Destiny (birthname: Ryan Destiny Irons) is a multi-talent performer as an actor, singer-songwriter, and dancer (as well as a model) who launched her big-screen career with a lead role in director/co-writer/producer Ty Hodges’ coming-of-age American indie drama, A Girl Like Grace (2015), with Meagan Good, Gardella Beauvais and Paige Hurd, and which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
Destiny starred in the streaming feature movie (on Max), Oracle (2023), with Heather Graham. Then Destiny landed her breakthrough starring role portraying Olympian boxer Claressa “T-Rex” Shields in the boxing biopic, The Fire Inside (2024), co-starring Brian Tyree Henry, directed by Rachel Morrison and written and directed by Barry Jenkins, which was released by Amazon MGM Studios after premiering in the Toronto Film Festival.
