Phil Lord was born and raised in Miami by his mother, a Cuban-born psychologist, and father, a former aviation executive and dance company director. Lord studied at and graduated from Ransom Everglades High School in Miami. Lord attended and graduated in 1997 from Dartmouth College, where he made comics for the university newspaper and was a member of the co-ed undergraduate society, Amarna. Lord’s height is 5’ 9 ½ ”.
