Meghann Fahy is best known for her role in the hit series, The White Lotus (2023), for which she was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress (Drama Series) Emmy award, and launched her feature film career with a role in the LGTBQ+ romantic drama, Those People (2015), starring Jonathan Gordon, Jason Ralph, and Haaz Sleiman, and which earned top prizes at the top two gay-lesbian festivals in the U.S., NewFest and Outfest Film Festivals. Fahy was cast in American indie movies as director/writer Matthew McDuffie’s Burning Bodhi (2015), with Kaley Cuoco; and director/writer Marc Lucas’s drama, Our Time (2016).
Fahy landed a supporting part in her first bigger-budget movie in the John Madden-directed political thriller, Miss Sloane (2016), starring Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Stuhlbarg, Alison Pill, John Lithgow, and Sam Waterston, and which was backed and released by EuropaCorp after premiering at AFI Fest. Fahy was again in a supporting role in director/writer Caroline Lindy’s romantic comedy-horror movie, Your Monster (2024), with Melissa Barrera, Tommy Dewey, and Edmund Donovan, and released by Vertical after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival.
Meghann Fahy co-starred with Josh O’Connor in director/writer Max Walker-Silverman’s acclaimed Sundance premiere, Rebuilding (2025), with Amy Madigan. Fahy joined co-star Zachary Levi in director/writer Jon Gunn’s biopic, The Unbreakable Boy (2025), based on the true story by Scott Michael LeRette and Suzy Flory, with supporting actors Jacob Laval, Drew Powell, and Patricia Heaton, and which was produced by Lionsgate/Kingdom Story Company and released by Lionsgate.
Fahy had her first starring role in a studio movie with Universal Pictures/Blumhouse Productions/Platinum Dunes mystery thriller, Drop (2025), with Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, and Reed Diamond under Christopher Landon’s direction, and with lead producers Michael Bay, Jason Blum, and Brad Fuller.
Meghann Fahy was born and raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts by her parents John and Tammy. Fahy has one sibling, Jay. Fahy attended and graduated from Longmeadow High School in 2008. Fahy has been in a relationship with her White Lotus co-star, Leo Woodall, since 2023. Fahy’s height is 5’ 6”.
