Kayo Martin is an actor, world-ranked competitive skateboarder and aspiring pro boxer who made his acclaimed feature acting debut in the co-starring role in director/writer Charlie Polinger’s psychological drama about bullying, The Plague (2025), starring Everett Blunck, Kenny Rasmussen, Joel Edgerton (who also produced) and Elliott Heffernan, and which premiered in the Un Certain Regard competition in the Main Selection of the Cannes Film Festival before having a wide theatrical release by Independent Film Company.
Martin appeared in the cast of director/co-writer/producer Shervin Nassi’s indie movie, Only Good Feelings (date to be announced), co-starring Ryan McCartan, Elias Kacavas, Amanda Steele, Kameron Omidian, and Ajay Naidu, and which was also produced by Michael Marlons (who was in the cast), Sergi Martos, and Piyush Thakur.
Kayo Martin was born and raised in New York City by his parents, whose lineage is British.
