Isaiah Saxon is a music video and short film filmmaker who has moved into feature filmmaking. Saxon was director or co-director of videos for such musicians as Zion I, Seventeen Evergreen, Grizzly Bear, Björk, and Panda Bear, as well as director or co-director of seven short films from 2005 to 2020.
Saxon is director/writer/producer of his debut feature film, the fantasy adventure The Legend of Ochi (2025), starring Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe, and which was released wide by A24 after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival.
Isaiah Saxon was born and raised in Aptos, California, by his parents. Saxon graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a degree in film directing.
