Everett Osborne (birthname: ) is an actor with an athletic profile, as exemplified by his appearances in the MMA-themed Mortal Kombat (2021), and in his debut feature starring role, as the title character in Sweetwater (2023), a basketball biopic about Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton, the first Black player to sign an NBA contract, written and directed by Martin Guigui and co-starring Cary Elwes, Jeremy Piven, Eric Roberts, Jim Caviezel, Richard Dreyfuss, and Kevin Pollak.
Everett Osborne was born and raised in Los Angeles. At age four, Osborne began acting in his church, the Faithful Resurrection Baptist Church. Osborne then studied acting at Ivanna Chubbuck’s Acting Studio TV commercials. As a student at Palisades High School in Los Angeles-based Pacific Palisades, Osborne was a school basketball star gaining a spot on the All-Western League First Team and graduated in 2011. Osborne earned a Division 1 scholarship to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in psychology.
