Calah Lane (birthname: Calah Francie Lane) is a young female actor who made her breakout appearance co-starring in the anticipated musical, Wonka (2023). After starring or co-starring in seven short films between 2016 and 2018, Lane had her feature film debut in The Day Shall Come (2019), directed by Chris Morris and co-written by Jesse Armstrong, with Andrel McPherson, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival.
After an uncredited role in the Benedict Andrews-directed biopic, Seberg (2019), Calah Lane landed episodic roles in TV series such as This Is Us (2021). In a career-changing turn, Lane earned the major role of Noodle in Warner Bros.’ $125-million Wonka, written and directed by Paul King and starring Timothée Chalamet, Keegan-Michael Key, Hugh Grant, Olivia Colman, Matt Lucas, Sally Hawkins, and Rowan Atkinson.
